First time I heard about them was in “Kitsuné Compilation 4”, I thought I recognized Hot Chip at that time. I must have been drunk, although we all have to admit they’re very similar…
Nevertheless, Thieves Like Us is an American-Swedish band based in Paris who have been there for quiet some time now. They released their first EP in 2006 (Drugs in my Body), but gained recognition when their EP was released with Kitsuné in 2007.
Today they’re back with a new EP that really seems to work again. I choose a remix today as I wanted to listen to something a bit more punchy and the electronic guitar is just wonderful what that song. Feel free to check to original version here
