Kormac - Rainstorm
I bet all the scratch-electro-swing fans already heard this one … well this is Kormac. The band fuses sampling of old gospel music with a double layer bass, drum, trumpet, banjo, some scratching and a barbershop quartet :) so sick! It would be really interesting to see Kormac live. They’re certainly the kind to impress even more live.
Well “Rainstorm” pushes the renewed oldies style to some new extends. Although the basics are quite similar, the sounds are less colored and a bit more minimal. A real pleasure to listen to, I certainly suggest you to increase the HI and MID-range at 1min51! It’s like candy for a 5 year old.
